The purpose of this announcement is to inform you about the update of Certificate Issuance policy and procedures.

The update is to ensure that the Certificate Issuance process is fair, and timely to students and, at the same time, is compliant with regulatory requirements. Below are frequently asked questions regarding Certificate Issuance.   

When can I obtain my certificate?

You must complete and meet all requirements specified in your training package (e.g., satisfactory outcomes for required units of competency and/or vocational placement.

Will the college charge me for issuing my certificates or statements of attainment?

The College will not charge any fee for the issue of a student’s certificates or statements of attainment. However, a charge may apply if a replacement or additional copy of student’s certificates or statements of attainment is requested by a student.

What information do I need to have for my certificate issuance?

Prior to the issue of a student’s certificates or statements of attainment, a student must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). If a student has his or her USI, he or she must provide USI information to the college. Any student who does not have a USI can request the college to create on his or her behalf.

Who do I contact for requesting my certificates and/or statements of attainment?

Generally, you will be issued your certificate and/or statement of attainment within 30 calendar days upon the completion of your course. If you do not obtain your certificate and/or statement of attainment, you may contact your respective school for the issuance of your certificate and/or statement of attainment.

My certificates or and/or statements of attainment have been lost/destroyed.  How can I obtain a replacement?

In order to replace your lost/destroyed certificates and/or statements of attainment, you are required to submit the Certificate Reissuance form at https://connect.portal.aibtglobal.edu.au/applications/.  A replacement fee may be applied. New certificates and/or statements of attainment will be issued within 30 calendar days upon the submission of the Certificate Reissuance form.  For questions regarding any charge for a replacement of certificates or statements of attainment, please contact us at qualityassurance@aibtglobal.edu.au.
