This Thursday 12th September AIBTGlobal is supporting R U OK? Day. This is a national day dedicated to supporting people who may be struggling with life, and reminding everyone to ask, “Are you OK?”

It may not always be obvious when someone is struggling, and we sometimes need to remember to trust our gut distinct and start a conversation. You don’t need to be an expert to reach out to others – it can be as simple as asking the question ‘Are you OK?”

If you would like more tips on how you can start the conversation and help support those around you, please visit the

R U OK? website.

In each of our campuses in Brisbane, Sydney and Hobart, we will be holding an afternoon tea this Thursday for all our staff and students at 1:00pm for a ‘Cuppa and conversation’. We would like to encourage staff to bring or bake a plate of food to share with your campus. AIBTGlobal hospitality students will be providing delicious goods to their local campuses in Brisbane and Sydney.

This year we hope to inspire everyone to Trust the Signs, Trust your Gut & Ask R U OK? We welcome all staff and students to join in our campuses in support of R U OK? Day.

Our free internal counselling services are available to all staff and students if you are struggling or need support:
