Dear Students,
The college has evaluated the situation of COVID-19 in Queensland (QLD) and Tasmania (TAS).
In these two states, the number of COVID-19 cases are low. Therefore, the college is implementing a plan – The return of students to the college -. Although students will gradually be recalled back to return to the QLD and TAS campuses, the college will still continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely. This will enable us to adjust the plan if necessary.
The first stage of the plan – The return of students to the college –
Students will first call back to conduct practical classes.
Sheldon School of Hospitality: Students will be called to the practical kitchen*.
Diana School of Community Services: Students will be called to practical simulation labs*.
Edison School of Tech Sciences: Students will be called to practical workshop*.
* The return of students to the college will be according to the class timetable provided by your respective school.
The second stage of the plan – The return of students to the college –
Students (except practical classes) will have a choice of an “online” timetable or an “on-campus” timetable**. As the college understands students’ concerns regarding their safety, some students wish to return to the campus whereas others do not. Students can either choose to remain study online or come back to study on the campus.
**Course attendance and progress are still monitored as usual. We wish you all the best in health and studies
Best Regard
Charles
