Dear Students,
The current situation of Covid-19 in Australia is continuing to worsen with an increase in the number of restricted areas and hotspots across Queensland, Tasmania and especially New South Wales1. Due to this, the theoretical components of your courses will continue online as planned (online classes via GoToMeeting).
Queensland and Tasmania:
The college will continue providing practical components of your courses as planned. There is no change in your class timetable and study plan for practical components.
Sydney:
The college will not provide practical components of your courses except Edison School of Tech Sciences and Bespoke Grammar School of English. The classes for practical components will be postponed until further notice. If there are any changes to class timetables, your respective school will advise you accordingly. At this stage, we cannot provide a definite date of when face to face classes will return as normal. For any student visa holders, please be aware that you may need to extend your Confirmation of Enrolment and Student Visa if you cannot complete courses within the required timeframe.
Important Note:
- Edison school students who are required to attend practical classes between 3/08/2020 and 8/8/2020 will come to the workshop at Seven Hills as usual. However, the change of the course delivery mode and timetables for practical classes can be changed at any time due to the COVID-19 situation.
- Bespoke School students will continue to attend face to face classes between 3/08/2020 and 8/8/2020 at Blacktown campus as usual. However, the change of the course delivery mode and timetables for practical classes can be changed at any time due to the COVID-19 situation.
The college will provide everyone updates of future developments. In the meantime, we would like you to regularly check our AIBTGlobal Coronavirus Update (COVID-19) web page
at https://aibtglobal.edu.au/coronavirus/?utm_source=head&utm_medium=redbutton for more information.
We wish you all the best in health and studies.
If you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance, please do let me know.
Best regards,
Charles
