This qualification reflects the role of individuals operating at a senior level who use a wide range of specialised managerial skills and substantial knowledge of event management processes to conceive, plan and stage events. They operate with significant autonomy and are responsible for making strategic business and event management decisions.

Academic requirement:
Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or Australian equivalent is mandatory
English requirement:

A minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required.

International Students who do not meet the English language requirements for this course may undertake English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) according to the English Learning Matrix.

There are no pre-requisites required for this qualification

Completing all the units of competency within this packaged qualification will lead to the issuance of a Diploma of Event Management (SIT50316) and Advanced Diploma of Event Management (SIT60216) and transcripts of academic records. Learners that successfully complete individual units of competency, but not the whole packaged qualification, will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment detailing the completed units.
