This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work as master diagnostic technicians the automotive service and repair industry; servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems and components. A range of advanced electrical diagnostic skills and knowledge is necessary, and leadership and supervision of others would be expected.
The Diploma of Automotive Business Management is intended to prepare new employees or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing management roles in the automotive industry.

Successful completion of Australian Year 12 Australia Equivalent with mathematics and physics.
English requirement:

A minimum of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required.

International Students who do not meet the English language requirements for this course may undertake English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) according to the English Learning Matrix.

Placement Fees
Before commencing placement within Diana School of Community Services, students will be required to obtain mandatory documents at their own expense. Completing all the units of competency within this qualification will lead to the issuance of a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30316), Certificate IV in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR40616) and Diploma of Automotive Management (AUR50116) including a transcript of all completed units. Students that successfully complete individual units of competency, but not the whole qualification, will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment detailing the completed units.
